19. Quick IFR Checklist

  1. Start X-Plane at a parking position.
  2. Open Plugins -> NextATC -> Nav Display.
  3. Open the Frequency Box and tune Delivery, Ground, or Tower.
  4. Use IFR flight to open the IFR Flight Plan dialog, review the route and departure runway, then press File Flight Plan.
  5. If prompted, confirm the SID for the selected runway to complete filing.
  6. Request clearance.
  7. Read back clearance.
  8. Tune Ground and request start/pushback/taxi as appropriate.
  9. Follow the taxi guide and hold short when instructed.
  10. Tune Tower and request takeoff.
  11. Contact Center after departure.
  12. Follow climb, route, descent, approach, and landing instructions.
  13. Vacate the runway and contact Ground.
  14. Taxi to parking.
