16. Navdata and Procedures

NextATC uses X-Plane airport and navigation data. For best SID/STAR coverage, keep X-Plane and any installed navdata current.

The plugin can work without a matching SID or STAR. If no suitable procedure is found, it can build direct/vector/approach geometry instead.

When using manual SID/STAR selection:

• Use On Screen Preview to inspect the procedure before confirming.
• Greyed procedure entries may be available but not recommended for the selected cruise altitude or restrictions.
• VFR flights intentionally disable SID and STAR selection.
